When you are going to ship living things, such as microorganisms (larvae and nits), insects and worms, it is important that they get through transport in good condition. Is it too cold or too hot during shipment? This can be fatal. Is it too moist or too dry? This too can be fatal.

To ensure the health and quality of the organisms during transport, you can create the right conditions for the journey with refrigerants, insulation boxes and absorption material. For one-way transport (without return flow), you can opt for gel packs in combination with EPS boxes or an ecological insulation box (the EcoCoolBox).

Points of attention when transporting cut flowers dry:

Cool the flowers. After cutting the stem, the flower's natural metabolism stops. To keep them beautiful for as long as possible, you need to cool them as quickly as possible. You can use gel packs for this.
Ensure good humidity. When the flowers are exposed to too much moisture, mold such as botrytis can develop. The flowers can also catch diseases. On the other hand, conditions that are too dry can also be disastrous. With absorption mats you collect moisture during transport.
Keep the flowers on temperature. In order to cool the cut flowers during long transports, we recommend the use of insulating packaging boxes such as EPS boxes or the EcoCoolBox in combination with gel packs.
