In Europe, there are several leading companies engaged daily in marketing so-called nematodes (nematodes). Nematodes are mainly used in controlling soil pests. Nematodes are best stored and transported at a temperature between 2°C and 7°C, this is because the nematodes die when frozen.
The Netherlands also plays an important role in the export of fish and sea worms which are used worldwide as bait for bass and larger fish. These live worms are usually shipped chilled and packed in an EPS box in combination with gel packs.
