Details About Our Cooling Plates

Our cooling plates are made from HDPE plastic bottles filled with non-toxic, food-safe cooling gel. These plates are widely used for transporting sensitive items across various industries, including hospitality and retail. They come in standardized gastronorm sizes for versatile application.

Available Sizes

We provide cooling plates in standard sizes such as:

• 1/1 gastronorm
• ½ gastronorm (current)
• 6 liters.

We also offer versions with handles that fit perfectly with our EPP boxes.

Our plates are typically set to cool at 0°C. However, we also offer plates for freezing at -16°C, -18°C, and -21°C. Custom temperatures can be provided, utilizing eutectic filling for a range from -65°C to +89°C.

Customization Options

If you need cooling plates tailored to your brand, we offer various customization options. Add labels in small quantities or have your logo embossed on the mold for orders of 10,000 or more. Eco-Friendly Options

Cooling plates are a more sustainable choice than gel packs, especially if they are reused. Made from HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene), these plates are durable, long-lasting, and fully recyclable. For even greener options, consider:

• rHDPE: This material is recycled and contains at least 90% regranulate, remaining fully recyclable.
• Biobased: This bioplastic, derived from renewable resources like sugarcane, is also fully recyclable and meets food safety standards.

Recycling Your Cooling Plates

Our cooling plates are designed to be reused, which we highly recommend. When a plate reaches the end of its lifecycle, thaw it, dispose of the gel in residual waste, and recycle the outer plastic with other plastics. All our plates, including those made from rHDPE and biobased materials, are 100% recyclable.
