Order this cooling plate of 6000 grams for products that need to be cooled at a temperature of 0°C to 8°C during transport. This size can be perfectly combined with our EPP boxes for a full cooling transportation solution.

Cooling plates

Cooling plates are plastic HDPE bottles filled with cooling gel. This cooling gel is fully non-toxic and therefore food-safe. Because of these characteristics, there are widely used within branches that transport sensitive products. Commonly used within the hospitality industry, retailers, our cooling plates come gastronorm sized.

Standard sizes

Our cooling plates are available in standard sizes such as 1/1 gastronorm, ½ gastronorm, 6 liters (current). We also offer variants with handles, which combine perfectly with our EPP boxes.

We offer standard temperatures of 0°C for cooling, but also at -16°C, -18°C and -21°C for excellent freezing performance. Any other temperature is possible as well, as we fill our cooling plates with a a filling with a eutectic melting point down to -65°C or up to +89°C.

Tailoring your cooling plate

If you are looking for tailoring this cooling plate to your business and visual identity, we offer several options. Among others, you can add labels (in small quantities), or punch out your logo in the mold (10,000+). The cooling plates can also be packaged by desired number and delivered in a display. Sustainable options

Cooling plates are a more sustainable option than gelpacks if you have return flows. The cooling plate is made of HDPE plastic: High Density Polyethylene. This is a strong kind of plastic that can be reused for long periods of time and is 100% recyclable. If you are looking for even more sustainable options, we offer some options.

• rHDPE: This material is recycled and consists of at least 90% regranulate. Also fully recyclable after use.
• Biobased: This is a bioplastic with renewable resources (sugarcane) as the raw material instead of virgin raw materials (oil). Also fully recyclable after use and possible to produce in line with food safety regulations.

Recycling your cooling plates

Our cooling plates are reusable and we recommend doing so. If your cooling plate has reached the end of it’s lifecycle, you can thaw them, put the filling in the residual waste and recycle the outer plate with plastic waste. All outer plates, including made of rHDPE and Biobased, all 100% recycleble.
