Using Styrofoam Cooling Boxes

For optimal temperature control during transport, we recommend pairing EPS boxes with a refrigerator or freezer. For non-returnable shipments, gel packs are an excellent addition.

Recycling Information for EPS Boxes

EPS boxes are 100% recyclable when clean. Since EPS is composed of 98% air, it needs to be compressed before recycling. Several companies specialize in compressing and recycling EPS. You can arrange for your used EPS boxes to be collected by one of these companies, and in some cases, you may even receive compensation. To ensure recyclability, the material must be free of contaminants.
