Patisserie refrigerated transport
Many chocolate web shops and online patisseries have a temperature limit above which chocolate products are shipped chilled. Coolpack produces disposable gel packs at 0-8 degrees Celsius: great for a one-way trip to the end customer! For optimal cooling, you can also use a (small) EPS box so that chocolate products arrive fresh and tasty at their destination, even at extreme temperatures.

Send delicacies chilled with gel packs
Our customers in the pastry industry often choose to ship their products with our gel packs. These keep the treats cool at a temperature of 2 to 8 degrees, or any other temperature you desire. Often these gel packs (coolers) are combined with an EPS box or EcoCoolbox. This keeps the temperature stable and low for a long time, and your products are well protected during transport.
Transporting chocolate products refrigerated
Chocolate does not need to be transported refrigerated by default. The ideal storage temperature is between 10 and 18 degrees, but if it gets a little warmer or colder there is still little to worry about. On summer days when the temperature rises above 21°C, the chocolate may turn white and you lose out on quality.
This is why chocolate processors and pastry shops (including in chocolate country Belgium) choose Coolpack gel packs from a certain expected outside temperature onwards. For optimal cooling or in very extreme weather conditions often in combination with a (small) EPS styrofoam box, which insulates and protects the chocolate well.
We produce all our gel packs and cooling elements at our production facility in Assendelft. Questions about the possibilities or the best solution for your situation? Feel free to contact us!
