This Phase Change Material cooling element has a capacity of 1400 ml and is made of strong material. This element is filled with PCM for +22 °C. Perfect for temperature-controlled shipments that must remain between +15°C and +25°C, also named as “controlled ambient transport” for perishable food, drugstore and medical products.

The blue cooling element is one of the classics that made Coolpack big. Standard available in different weights (200 grams, 400 grams, 400 grams flat, 600 grams, 750 grams, 950 grams, 1100 grams and 1500 grams), these cooling elements are produced at our facility in Assendelft. They are perfect for refrigerated transport of products such as fish, meat, meals, vegetables, fruit, chocolate, dairy, medical devices, groceries and more!
At Coolpack, we guarantee cooling elements that do not leak during transport and provide excellent cooling performance. As standard, this cooling element will keep your products chilled for at least 24 hours at a temperature between 0º C and 8º C. For best results, we recommend using well-insulated packaging, such as the reusable EPP cooler.
All our refrigerated elements are produced in Assendelft and can be filled with a refrigerated filling with eutectic melting point of -65º C to +89º C. This makes them suitable for both frozen transport and transport at ambient temperature. Please contact us for the possibilities.

Sustainable Alternatives
For return flows, reusable cooling elements are a more sustainable alternative than disposable gel packs. Our cooling elements are made of HDPE (High Density Polyethylene): strong, reusable for a long time and 100% recyclable. We also offer even more sustainable alternatives:
– rHDPE: Recycled material consisting of at least 90% regranulate. Fully recyclable after use.
– Biobased: Bioplastic made from renewable resources (sugar cane) instead of virgin raw materials (oil). Fully recyclable after use and possible to produce in line with food safety regulations.

Recycling Instructions
Our dimensionally stable cooling elements are often reusable. Has your cooling element reached the end of its useful life? Defrost the cooling element, throw the filling in the residual waste and recycle the outer bottle in the plastic waste. The HDPE casing is fully recyclable, as are the sustainable alternatives of rHDPE and renewable HDPE.
