A Spongepack is a form-fitting cooling element suitable for single use, but can also be reused as long as the foil remains undamaged. The Spongepack is filled with a sponge and a cooling gel. Because of the sponge, the Spongepack retains its shape both when frozen and unfrozen.

As standard, the Spongepack is suitable to keep your products at a temperature of 0ºC to 8ºC for several days, provided it is packed in a well-insulated package with sufficient cooling capacity. This is how you keep your shipment chilled during transport, independent of local electricity. Before use, freeze the Spongepack for at least 24 hours at -18 ºC. Other temperature ranges are also possible!

Custom and standard sizes

We supply Spongepacks from stock in 1100 grams (19×30 cm). But the possibilities are much wider thanks to our own on-site production facility in Assendelft.

Recycling instructions from Spongepacks

Sponge packs can be refrozen and reused. Before doing so, check the Spongepack for any damage. At the end of its useful life, the Spongepack may be disposed of in its entirety with residual waste.
